Timbers sign Alvarez for remainder of 2008 season

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have signed forward Byron Alvarez, the club’s modern-franchise scoring leader, for the remainder of the 2008 season, it was announced today pending USSF and international clearance.

    Alex Rodriguez the baseball players? Hmm, I don’t really follow baseball . . . I suppose he’s pretty famous, eh? ;-)
