Bailey’s Taproom is opening in August, according to the website. It’s in the old Lamthong spot.
I look forward to checking it out, as it’s a block from my office and I like beer and chocolate and cheese.

Friday, July 13th through Sunday, July 15th will be a weekend for the ages:
Friday after work head to the North Park Blocks (gates open at 4pm) for the Portland International Beerfest.
Get to PGE Park by 7pm for the Timbers match against the Victory. Party with Timber Jim and the Army post-game at the Bullpen patio.

It’s easy to find happy hours in Portland, with several local sites dedicated to the subject. In particular Bar Fly and Unthirsty.
My favorite is UrbanDrinks.com.
