The Hair of the Dog 16th Anniversary Dock Sale is this Saturday, November 14 from 10am-4pm at the brewery (4509 SE 23rd Ave).
This is one of the most anticipated beer events of the year for Portland beer fans. Alan Sprints tells BeerAdvocate that the beers available this year include:
Cherry Adam, Blue Dot IPA, Fred from the Wood, Doggie Claws and a new release, Michael. Michael is a Flanders Red, made in memory of Michael Jackson. The beer was brewed in January of 2007, and aged in American oak and Sherry barrels since then. It is just over 6% alcohol, made with Organic Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts and fermented with a variety of yeast and bacteria. I will also have some older batches of Claws available and larger format bottles of some Beers.
You read that right, a new Flanders Red called Michael, in memory of the late Michael Jackson [the beer writer].
(And to help you plan ahead to next year, and the year after that, Beer News writes that Alan Sprints also revealed on Twitter last month that he was “aging 130lb of peaches with Fred in a Rye Whiskey cask for a year” so there is a sneak peak at what is to come for the 17th Anniversary. He has another batch of Flanders aging for the 18th Anniversary.)

Damnit. Why does everyone want money from me this week? Now I have to decide between beer and ConCon tickets.
