October 9-11: Friends of the Multnomah County Library 37th Annual Fall Used Book Sale 2010

Friends of the LibraryThe Friends of the Multnomah County Library 37th Annual Fall Used Book Sale 2010, Oregon’s largest used book sale, takes place this weekend, and Monday, at 1205 NE 33rd (corner of 33rd and Sandy).

Over 100,000 books, CDs and DVDs, audio and video tapes, and maps and sheet music will be available. Prices of kids’ books and small paperbacks start at $.50, large paperbacks and hardcovers at $1.50. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Multnomah County Library.

Sale hours are 9am to 6pm on Saturday. Sunday hours are 9am until 5pm, and the sale continues on Monday, 50% discount day, from 9am until 3pm.

There’s also a special members only pre-sale takes place Friday, October 8th from 6 to 9pm, but you can sign up at the door (memberships cost at $30, $20 for seniors, and $45 for families).
