The 2011 Portland Seafood and Wine Festival takes place Friday and Saturday, February 4th and 5th at the Oregon Convention Center (777 NE MLK Jr. Ave). This sixth annual festival is a celebration of all things Oregon, but most specifically our wonderful Oregon seafood and wines.
The exhibitor list is impressive, featuring dozens of wineries, half a dozen restaurants, several breweries, and lots more.
Tickets are $10 ($8 for kids under 12 and seniors 65 and older), and there’s a $2 discount for early birds both days – if you arrive within the first two hours of opening. Friday the festival opens at 2pm, Saturday at noon, and both days it’s open until 9pm. The first 300 people through the gate each day receive a commemorative wine glass. And a Fred Meyer Rewards Card gets you $3 off admission (but cannot be combined with first two-hour discount). $.50 of every $10 ticket goes directly to the Oregon Chapter of the National MS Society.
Wine sampling starts at 50 cents and food prices start at $1.
Visit the festival website for more details, including a map of exhibitors and the event schedule.
