The 2011 Alberta Street Fair takes place this Saturday, August 13 on Alberta, from NE 10th through 30th.
Things kick off at 11am with the Kids Parade – which starts at 15th and ends at the 21st Avenue stage. Enjoy the line up of activities for kids and families throughout the day.
But the festival isn’t just for kids. From 11am until 7pm enjoy car free streets, the vendor options, and the beer garden (at 11th at the Radio Room – 11am-9:30pm). Food carts, other food vendors, and Alberta’s restaurants will make sure you don’t starve.
Live entertainment, including music and dancing, is scheduled all day on three stages, at 11th, 21st, and 30th.
This was really fun last year. I think I’ll stop in this year as well. I seem to remember some really spectacular kettle corn…
