February 26: Hall of Records throws a party

Posted on 24 February 2009

Hall of Records is a Portland record store, coffeehouse, and bar with a fantastic vinyl collection, a great business plan, and energetic owners. Sounds like a great place to down a pint while perusing the vinyl, eh?

Alas, the one thing Hall of Records does not have yet is a location.

But this Thursday, February 26, at 7:30pm that problem is temporarily solved:

Hall of Records is throwing a record party/DJ dance party at It’s a Beautiful Pizza (3342 SE Belmont).

DJ Standin’ 8s will be mixing while you dig for records (mainly soul, funk, jazz and breaks from the 60s and 70s) and enjoy a beer. The party is true to the (eventual) store concept: blending records with beer.
