The Portland Timbers travel to South Florida to face the Miami FC Blues this weekend, with two matches in three days: Friday, July 17 at 5pm, and Sunday, July 19th at 3pm.
With a win or draw Friday the Timbers can match Montreal’s USL record 15 matches without a loss, which the Impact accomplished in 2005. A win or draw Sunday, and the Timbers would surpass the record with 16 USL matches without a loss or draw. (The Timbers have actually gone 16 matches without a loss, but that was over two seasons – 2004-5.)
The match will be broadcast at 5:30pm on USLLive, and will be shown at the following local venues:
- Rogue Distillery & Public House (1339 NW Flanders)
- All Ages: Beulahland (118 NE 28th Ave)
- Cheerful Bullpen (1730 SW Taylor)
- Leisure Public House (8002 N Lombard)
And in addition to the venues above, Sunday’s match will also be shown at St. John’s Theater & Pub (8203 N. Ivanhoe St).
For more information, changed venues, and new venues visit the Timbers Away Game Pub Thread on the Soccer City USA Message Board.
