Portland Metro RV Show (November 11-14, 2010)

RV ShowThe Portland Metro Dealers 52nd RV Show takes place Thursday through Sunday, November 11 through 14, at the Expo Center (2060 N Marine Drive).

This isn’t the sort of thing I typically blog about on Dave Knows, but Heather and I are attending this year; we’re thinking about buying an RV! We won’t be splurging on a new one like those featured at the RV Show, but we hope to get an idea of the size and features we’ll eventually budget for.

Portland RV dealers and dozens of exhibitors will be on hand showing off their wares.

The show hours are 11am until 8pm Thursday through Saturday, and 11am to 6pm Sunday. Admission $9 for adults, $7 for seniors 50 and over, and free for kids under 16 (with adult). Go to PortlandMetroRV.com to print up 2 for 1 admission coupons.

On a recent trip to Portland, Oregon I was fortunate to be upgraded to a hotel room with a river view and a balcony on the 11th floor.

From this single vantage point I was able to capture over 7000 images using a variety of lenses and different compositions. The video shows about a twelve-hour span of life on the Willamette River around the Hawthorne Bridge near Waterfront Park.
