June 20: You Are Timbers History Open Studio #2

Posted on 16 June 2010

TimbersYou have another chance to make Portland Timbers history, this Sunday, June 20th, at FC Media’s second Open Studio event.

The first Open Studio, earlier this month, was a success. Fans brought Timbers memorabilia of all kinds to the event to be photographed and cataloged for the Timbers visual history project.

For this second event, the FC Media team invites you to bring any and all Timbers ephemera, but especially that of the homemade variety, to Studio 20 (419 SE Ivon Street) from 4pm to 9pm:

In particular we are hoping to gather a collection of DIY materials. From homemade t-shirts to patches, stickers, buttons and scarves – this is your opportunity to show off the ingenuity and creativity that has made the Timbers Army the greatest football supporters that the world has ever seen. And don’t forget tattoos!

So join FC Media on Sunday June 20, enjoy a beer and the company of fellow Timbers supporters and help us collect the most comprehensive record of the Timbers’ history. The club will be dispensing of all of this stuff with the new logo sooner than we all realize. So bring it by, show it off and let’s not let the club’s history be forgotten.

Visit the Facebook event page for more information.
