We may have seen the last of the summer weather.
This morning I awoke to soothing sound of rain; it’s still mild enough to sleep with the windows open. The first storm of the season will be hitting the coast tomorrow.
Perhaps if this keeps up the Greek Festival this weekend won’t be as crowded as the Polish Festival was.

I actually kinda know Spanish (unlike French). My rough translation is:
Guillermo Lara Guadarrama, president of the the Red Sharks of Veracruz, confirmed that the squad could play a friendly game in the USA on October 10th against a team from Portland.
One can only assume the team from Portland is the Timbers. There is no official announcement yet though on the Timbers website.
The article goes on to say that this Wednesday (today I presume) the situation will be settled, so stay tuned . . .
After the Portland game Veracruz would be heading to Chicago to play the Fire.
