An idea for the grass seed capital of the world

Where MAX and the streetcar don’t share the right of way with cars, something like this sure would look nice:

The Willamette Valley is the Grass Seed Capital of the World, after all.

Ummm… kind of looks like a park to me. And the last thing I want is confusion around the MAX. I don’t want kids kicking soccer balls in this grass parkway. Or people walking and having there dogs poop there. I’d rather have it be barkdust, low bushes or something similar.

Giraffe – I didn’t think of that; I guess an added bonus would be the help with natural selection.

    I kid, I kid!

Seems like they could do grass in inaccessible-to-pedestrian spots, or in places where the trains go especially slow (e.g. the urban plaza at PSU, or the curve around OHSU on the South Waterfront).

not uncommon in the netherlands. of course, maybe they are smarter or care less about kids.
