Back Fence PDX is back for more in 2010, starting with Entertainment for People on Thursday, February 25th at The Woods (6637 SE Milwaukie) – Formerly Whilhelm Funeral Home and Crematory!
Entertainment for People is a variety show featuring sketch comedy, readings, live storytelling and music. The line up looks intriguing:
Arthur Bradford presenting video and stories from his time as director of MTV’s How’s Your News, Ritchie Young from Loch Lomond and his brothers performing as Fourever Young, sketch comedy from Eastland Academy, live storytelling from Portland favorite Nathaniel Boggess and a gardening demo from Destination DIY diva Julie Sabatier and the good people of SCRAP.
Tickets cost $10 now, $12 on the 15th, then $14 at the door – so buy them now! Visit BackFencePDX.com for more information.
Here’s a taste. Nathaniel Boggess, one of the storytellers scheduled for Entertainment for People, answers the questions What would John Hughes do? at last September’s Back Fence PDX:
