And Sunday, after cheering on Spain or the Netherlands, as the case may be, in the World Cup Final, head up to PGE Park again as the Portland Timbers host Mexican side Club Deportivo Atlas in a friendly – kickoff at 6pm.
The Portland Timbers host Miami FC today, Saturday July 10th, at PGE Park. This is the last league match at home until August 11th. Game kicks off at 7pm.
With their recent strong play Portland has worked their way back into the playoff picture. The team’s record stands at 5-5-5, and they find themselves fourth place in the USL Conference with the fourth highest point total in the league. Miami FC have only two wins on the season – one of them against the Portland Timbers last month. In the Timbers Insider interview shown below, Futty Danso makes it clear he doesn’t think the team should have lost to Miami, and expects the Timbers to come out strong tonight:
