After a month on the road, the Portland Timbers return to PGE Park this Wednesday, July 11 to face the NSC Minnesota Stars. The match kicks off at 7pm.
In the teams’ last meeting the Timbers won 2-0 in Minnesota, but that was two days after Minnesota beat Portland 1-0 at PGE Park. All of this took place in June. The Timbers’ recent form has not impressed, drawing once and losing three times on this most recent road trip. Minnesota, on the other hand, has earned points in their last five matches (1 win 4 draws). That stretch included a 1-1 draw at Vancouver, which isn’t too shabby.
