Game 21: Timbers 2 – Minnesota 2 by mao at Portland Timber USL Blog at The Offside
10-man Portland Timbers were held by NSC Minnesota Stars, 2-2 at sold out PGE Park. But skipper Ian Joy was sent off, rather harshly, immediately after Pore’s second half goal, ultimately leading to Minnesota’s equalizer. Both sides came into the game on 27 points and leave on 28, just three points clear of four other clubs vying for playoff positions. [more]

“It’s beautiful,” the scalper said.

I’ve always admired the Portland Timbers organization, as they impress me with their desire to be an integral part of the soccer community. One of the programs they started last season was a Fantasy camp, giving fans of every skill level the chance to play on the same pitch with their idols. [more]
