The Portland Timbers return to the scene of their first MLS win today, as they face the FC Dallas at Jeld-Wen Field at 3pm.
After four matches, both teams sport identical 1-2-1 records. FC Dallas’ star is 2010 MLS MVP David Ferreira, and the team made it to the MLS Cup last year, losing to Colorado. Portland’s Kenny Cooper scored 40 goals in 90 appearances for Dallas between 2006 and 2009, and is a Dallas native.
The field should be bit dryer today.
Today also happens to be the anniversary of Timber Jim’s last official day as the Timbers’ mascot, so let’s get a win for Timber Jim!
