The 2012 Trillium Festival, brought to you by the Friends of Tryon Creek, takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
“The festival is a great opportunity to introduce the park to new audiences and for visitors to learn more about the importance of using native plants in your garden and make a direct connection to nature with others who share those values.”
“The Trillium Festival is a celebration of Oregonian’s love of nature, a chance to remember this great legacy left to us by the late Tom McCall and the foresight of the state to make this Oregon’s first and only urban state natural area.”
Visit the website for the event schedule and details on the plant sale, market, garden art sale, and more.
The festival takes place at the Tryon Creek State Natural Area. Directions and shuttle information are available at the Friends of Tryon Creek website.
And a reminder: please do not pick the trilliums!
