The longest days of the year are upon us, as are the summer festivals dedicated to drinking and leisuring in the sun, when it makes an appearance.

Cider Summit PDX
The 2013 takes place Friday and Saturday, June 21 and 22 at Elizabeth Caruthers Park (3508 SW Moody) in the South Waterfront.
This year’s lineup features over a hundred varieties of cider from Oregon, Washington, Vermont, Colorado, Michigan, and a half dozen foreign countries.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. This event is 21 and over only, but dogs are allowed!

Northeast Portland Sunday Parkways
Sunday Parkways are back again in 2013. The Northeast Portland episode takes place this Sunday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along an 8 mile route.
Explore Neighborhood Greenways and the Cully Boulevard Cycletrack while you make your way around the Northeast Portland route. Lots of activities, music, and food will be at Woodlawn, Alberta, and Fernhill Parks, plus Rigler School.
