The Portland State School of Theater + Film presents a historic glass lantern slide show, Land of Milk and Honey: An Illuminated Guide to Oregon’s Bounty, on Thursday, 5 May 2016 at PSU’s Lincoln Recital Hall – Room 75 – (1620 SW Park Ave).

Culinary historian Heather Arndt Anderson (Portland: A Food Biography) and Oregon Historical Society archivist Matthew Cowan present a collection of historic glass lantern slides – hand colored and projected using an original 1930’s projector – depicting Oregon’s cornucopia and the stories behind the images.

The show begins at 6 PM. Visit the event page or PSU Box Office for ticket options.

A reception follows with Oregon-inspired menu from Art de Cuisine.
