A Singapore website, The Electric New Paper, is reporting that the Timbers have signed 22 year old Nigerian Gabriel Obatola, a former Gombak United striker. The veracity of the report, however, is dubious as the article goes on to state he’s going to be in the MLS and has a two year contract with the Timbers.
