All Weekend
The Portland Metro Dealers 52nd RV Show takes place Thursday through Sunday, November 11 through 14, at the Expo Center (2060 N Marine Drive).
This isn’t the sort of thing I typically blog about on Dave Knows, but Heather and I are attending this year; we’re thinking about buying an RV! We won’t be splurging on a new one like those featured at the RV Show, but we hope to get an idea of the size and features we’ll eventually budget for. [more]

Walls of Pride – Presented by the Dill Pickle Club
The Dill Pickle Club presents Walls of Pride, a Tour of African American Public Art in Portland, this Friday, November 12.

Brewing Up Cocktails 2 takes place Saturday, November 13 2010 at The Hop & Vine (914 N Killingsworth) from 6pm until 10pm.
The brainchild of Ezra Johnson-Greenough of the New School beer blog, Portland celebrity mixologist and writer Jacob Grier, and Yetta Vorobik, owner of the Hop & Vine, the second installment of Brewing up Cocktails aims to be a spirited event exploring craft beers as interesting and relatively unexplored ingredient for combining with spirits to create something truly unique. “North Portland Meets Africa,” a first-time event featuring information about the African continent, its people and cultures, is slated to take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the St. Johns Community Center, 8427 N. Central in North Portland. Family-friendly programming will give participants ways to increase their understanding of and exposure to their neighbors and friends, or to learn more about their own African heritage. [more]
BelgianFest at Bailey’s Taproom
BelgianFest 2010 at Bailey’s Taproom (213 SW Broadway) takes place Saturday, November 13.
One of four mega beer fests planned by the Bailey’s Taproom crew each year, this is the first annual BelgianFest: The idea was to marry our two favorite things, Belgian beer and local brewers, and watch what happened in the honeymoon suite. The beers are Belgian-style, with a Northwest twist, and wow do they sound fantastic. [more]
