Stumptown Stories, the event series geared to everyone who loves this city we live in, takes place most Tuesdays at the Jack London Bar (in the basement of the Rialto, SW 4th and Alder). It’s free to get in, but you must be 21 or over – there’s a full bar!
The host every Third Tuesday is the crack hustler of Oregon History, Doug Kenck-Crispin. You can count on Doug to dig up the weird and tawdry tales from the darker side of Portland history.
And the topic this Tuesday night is Oregon Treasures! For a preview check out the Kick Ass Oregon History podcast, Treasures of Oregon, in which it is revealed that there be gold in them thar hills, and parks, and streets, and maybe your own backyard. Attendees receive two real Oregon treasure maps!
Visit the Facebook page for more information on this, and upcoming Stumptown Stories events.
Presentation begins at 7:30pm.
