The 2nd annual PDX Beer Week takes place June 7 through 10, 2012 throughout the city.

The 2012 Rose Festival Fleet Week extends from Wednesday, June 6 through Sunday, June 10 – so you know what that means, bridge lifts!
The raising and lowering of the bridges, as I like to call this annual event, begins with ship arrivals Tuesday departures on Monday. [more]

Rose Festival CityFair, part of Portland’s Official Festival, is open for three full weekends starting on Memorial Day weekend. The second annual Portland Fruit Beer Fest (PFBF) returns to Burnside Brewing (NE Burnside & 7th) this Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10, 2012.

The Rose Festival is proud to host the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race. They celebrated their 20th year in 2008!
80 teams compete (including local, national, and international teams) with heats of four teams competing every nine minutes. These races are held on the Willamette River (near the Hawthorne Bridge). [more]

The 2012 Rose Festival Milk Carton Boat Race takes place Sunday, June 10 at the Westmoreland Park casting pond – festivities kickoff at 11 a.m.!
My favorite Rose Festival event, I have not missed a race since the 2009 revival, and I won’t miss the 2012 race either! [more]
The Crafty Underdog, a different kind of craft show, takes place every second Sunday at the Mission Theater (1624 NW Glisan).
