October 16-18: Oregon Distillers Guild fall tasting, Oysterfest, record show, and the Apple Event

The rain finally arrived.

As evidenced by the list below, however, there’s still a lot to do on a rainy Portland weekend in the Fall, and every one of the events featured below is either indoors or tent covered!

Over the next two weekend (Friday-Sunday, October 9-11, and 16-18) the Portland Nursery hosts the 22nd Annual Apple Tasting Event at the Stark location (5050 SE Stark).

Apple tasting, old fashioned cider pressing, apple desserts, and cooking demonstrations; normally I wouldn’t get too excited these sorts of activities, but last year Heather and I attended the festival and enjoyed it immensely. More . . .
