The doors of the Bagdad Theater (3702 SE Hawthorne) open at 10pm on Friday, January 7. Film starts at 11pm. Admission is a mere $3, and you have to be 21 or over!

Portland’s Lan Su Chinese Garden (NW 3rd and Everett) is offering free admission for eight days from Sunday, January 2 through Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Where to Watch the Fiesta Bowl in Portland
Of course you’ll be able to watch the Fiesta Bowl (aka Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, and in 2011 the BCS National Championship Game) at any sports bar or really most any bar or restaurant in town that has a TV. And there’s always the living room couch option. But this year the game is a little more interesting to Oregonians, since as you no doubt already know the Oregon Ducks will be playing Auburn for the national championship!
