Publication Fair 2011The 2011 Publication Fair returns to the The Cleaners at Ace Hotel (SW Stark & 10th) on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Presented by Publication Studio and the Ace Hotel, from 11am until 7pm local publishers, printers, and producers will be on hand with all of their printed matter for sale.

The event will include Santa & Mrs. Clause arriving by our local PDX fire engine to be delivered to Santa’s Village at Foot Traffic. [more]

From 9am to 5pm all used items will be 55% off – great bargains abound on 20,000 books of all kinds, CDs, DVDs and much more!

The Title Wave Bookstore is where Multnomah County Library books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines go when they are removed from the library collection. Staffed by volunteers, the money raised at the bookstore goes to library operations.

Sale applies to merchandise on hand. No additional discounts and no “rain checks.”

Book SaleThe Garden Home Community Library Book Sale takes place Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9am until 3pm at the Garden Home Recreation Center (7475 SW Garden Home Road).

You’ll find hundreds of hardback and paper bound books, CDs and DVDs including fiction, crime, history, biography, children and young readers, cooking, hobbies, health and wellness, travel, arts and literature. Prices are $.50 and $1.00, and your purchases support the Garden Home Library.

Meanwhile taking place at the same time is Garden Home Recreation Center’s 27th annual Holiday Bazaar.
